I'm sorry to hear that! They shouldn't have kicked you off. I mean. That is the stupidest thing to do kick someone off and make everyone learn new set drills instead of keep you on and then just march a hole at championships. It's stupid!!! I don't think it's right of them.

It's not. And I don't have a bright chance of being in color guard next year unless I show "major dedication"

I don't think they would not let you back on the guard next year. They were talking about not letting a girl named latergra(Sp?) After her first year but they let her on the next year anyway. And a way to show major dedication...Practice your work even when practice is not in session! At band camp on your lunch and dinner break if you stay at the band room, eat your food then right after that practice tosses, the work Terry teaches you. Pay attention like crazy and don't give them a reason to be mad or aggravated with you(Which I know you never did.) The only people they don't let back on to the guard(or supposedly because they didn't) are people who quit in between the season and you didn't. Besides, This trip was plan way before you even thought of joining guard right? Did you tell them that? get you French teacher to tell them. They can't keep you from something you want to do.
