Well Guard tryouts for next season are next week and I'm super psyched! I might be able to skip rifle and go to saber! I hate the rifle. It's too bulky and I've already gotten a single, double, triple, almost a quad, and drop spins on the saber. I'm planning on talking to my guard director about skipping rifle. I hope he lets me. If he says I have to do rifle, I'm just going to stay as a flag swing flag. I hate rifle that much. Saber is easier for me but I think I bruised more than skin on my right hand. i think I bruised the bones in 2 places and it HURTS LIKE HELL!! But it's damn well worth it!

Rifle and saber are exactly what they sound like. We toss them in Color Guard.
They're not real of course. XD

It's not a real saber. If it was we'd all be missing hands, fingers, and whatever else they fall on.

Color Guard is what accompanies the band on the field during half time at football games. We spin swing flags, regular flags, rifles, sabers, and sometimes other things if it fits with our show.
